Spooky Treats

A few fun Halloween themed treats for your next party or some fun treats for your kids.

Spooky Ghost Pretzels

 What You’ll Need:

 2 Cups White Chocolate Chips

Bag of Pretzels Rods

Black decorating gel

The How To:

  1. Melt your white chocolate either over the stove using a double boiler or using the microwave. Once melted pour your chocolate into a tall glass.     
  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Dip your pretzels rods into the melted chocolate. Place on the baking sheets and set to cool in the fridge.

                                 

  2. Once chocolate has completely cooled and is hard, decorate the rods with the decorating gel, creating faces for the ghosts.

 

 

Vampire Teeth  

What You’ll Need:

Package of Cookie Dough (or homemade)

1/2 cup Frosting (red)

1-2 cups Miniature Marshmallows

24 Slivered Almonds

The How To:

  1. Bake cookies at 350° for about 12 minutes, cool and cut each cookie in half.                                                                                                                 
  1. Using your icing squeeze, a strip of icing around your cookie halves, add in the marshmallows lining them up. Place the other cookie half on top. Add on two slivers of almonds on the side of your “teeth” to make fangs.   
  1. Repeat, make sure your icing doesn’t dry out before you can assemble them all. Store in fridge.

 

 

Meringue Bones

 What You’ll Need:

 2 Egg White

1/2 cup sugar

1/8 tsp Cream of tartar

 

 The How To:

  1. In a medium bowl add your egg whites and cream of tartar. Beat together until soft peaks form, slowly add in the sugar until stiff peaks have formed. Fill a piping bag with your meringue

 

  1. On a parchment lined baking sheet. Pipe your meringue into around 3-inch logs adding two balls on both ends of the log, making a bone shape.

 

  1. Bake at 225° for a 1 ½ hours or until firm. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
