Lemon Thyme Pork Schnitzel

What you’ll Need:

             Big Sky Pie Pork Schnitzel

            Vegetable Oil

         

            3/4 Cup Heavy Cream

            3/4 Cup Chicken Stock

            2 Tablespoons Butter

            2 Teaspoons Fresh Thyme

            2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)

            1 Lemon (Zest and Juice)

            Salt and Pepper (To taste)

 

The How To:

 

  1. The Sauce: In a sauce pan over medium heat, add in the butter and garlic. Cook until the garlic begins to brown, add in both the lemon juice and zest. Cook for another 30 seconds.

 

  1. Cook It: Pour in the cream and stock to your pan. Add in the fresh thyme leaves and salt and pepper to taste. Stir and reduce to heat to a gentle simmer. Once thickened, remove from heat, and set aside.

 

  1. The Schnitzel:  Remove Schnitzel from the bag, separate pieces, and thaw. Heat vegetable oil to 350ºF and deep fry till golden brown.

 

  1. Finish It Up: Drizzle Lemon Thyme sauce over top of the pork schnitzel. Serve and enjoy!
